We love Ceniza! My husband and I go every 2 weeks for our Cuban food fix. We moved up to Ooltewah about a year ago from South Florida. It is so nice to have real, traditional Cuban food. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Disappointed. Loved this place earlier this year. Food was no where near as good. Cuban had huge chunks of fat in it and no flavor. Plantain chips had so much salt you had to rake it off. Sweet plantains weren't sweet and dry and hard. Everything greasy. Manager was kind and did make it right by taking things off our check. Hoping to try again in the future and that tonight was a just bad night for them.

What a fantastic experience we had tonight. Our server George was very attentive. I ordered the "Pollo a la plancha" a seared chicken breast over fluffy white rice with black beans and a side of perfectly cooked sweet plantains. My wife had the Classic Miami Sandwich with a side of fries. It was our first time and it definitely didn't disappoint, can't wait to bring our friends for a night out upstairs. The chef stopped by, greeted us, and even sent out a slice of this decadent maple cheesecake for being our first visit. That was a nice touch, I wish more restaurants did these days. If I could give more stars I would. My suggestion would be have a place for us older folks to have a place to dance salsa on the weekends! The food took me back to my days living in South Florida and a restaurant we would frequent La Carreta.

Such a nice change scenery for lunch today with my coworkers. The 3 napkin burger lived up to it's name. Good beer selection at a reasonable price. The cook was taking pictures of a dish that wasn't on the menu, after the pictures he gave it to our table to try. It was a pork slider topped with a bunch of stuff. The bartender made us some what seemed to be shots of sweetened espresso that were really really really good. We will be back soon!

The food and the atmosphere were both great! We had lunch and we will go again and try dinner. If it is anything like lunch it will be delicious.
